The Long Walk
The young girl walked down the road.
Her eyes filled with sorrow.
Her body filled with hatred for the boy who stole her heart.
She loved him with all her might,
But the feeling was not the same, he didn’t love her;
Even though she tried so hard to make it so.
She was lonely and wanted someone to confide in,
The young girl looked up in the sky…
And to her surprise, the sky was red!
She felt like the sky knew her pain,
So the young girl and the sky walked in silence down the long
Road.
As tears of happiness erased her pain.
